Irving Pierre, senior, gently known as Daddy Irving or Mr. Erving ”was born on January 14, 1924 and entered the eternal break on January 10, 2025. Irving is the third of the age of eleven brothers and sisters born by Edgar Pierre and Ethel Christoph Pierre. When two of his siblings died at an early age, Irving was raised with his nine brothers and sisters. Irving began serving in the Army of the United States in 1940. He was fired in 1945. He then worked as a Celotex worker for more than 40 years before retiring.

In 1946, Irving married Evelyn Catherine Ruth Griffin. They had six children: Sherne, Nancy, Ann, Irving Jr., Ilian and Bridget.

Later, Irving owned and managed Pierre’s grocer for more than 50 years with his wife Evelyn.

Irving was a loyal member of Mount Mount Cyon’s missionary church in Ama, Louisiana, for over 70 years. Irving was a community pillar and a favorite patriarch for his family. He left a lasting heritage of love, faith, wisdom, dedication and determination.

Deins: Niece: Senda Griffin; grandchildren: Trina Triche, Nicole LeBeof, Kendall Pierre, Senior, Trelel Trisha; great -granddaughter: Hope Moore. He leaves his memory, daughters: Ilian Pierre-Medley, Bridget Taylor; Sisters: Barbara (Barry) Pilson, Eva Compton: Daughter -in -law: Luberta Anne Pierre; Zet: Eldridge Trishe; Daughter -in -law: Rita L. Wright; 15 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, eight great-grandfathers and numerous nephews, nephews, cousins ​​and relatives he loved.
