Employees identified in the North Las Vegas Firing Investigation – News3lv

Las Vegas (KSNV) – A shooting is currently being held, linked to an officer, which took place on February 4, 2025, is currently being investigated, involving two police officers in North Las Vegas.

Employees have been identified as officer Jason Roskov and officer Luis Machias-Venegas.

During this shooting, officer Jason Raskov was fatally injured in the execution of duty.

Initially, the officers responded to a call about a man who allegedly pointed a gun to another person.

The man who was later identified as Alexander Matisse was also shot fatal.

The 46 -year -old officer Roskov dedicates 17 years to the department, starting his service on June 18, 2007.

This incident was the shooting related to the North Las Vegas Police Office in 2025.
