Radukanu began her season with victory over Russia, Ekaterina Alexandrova in the first round of the Australian Open, but could not repeat the feat of the Katar open in Doha.
6-3 7-5 loss to Alexandrova followed damage from the first round of Marketa Vondrousova in Abu Dhabi and Kristina Buka in Singapore, as well as a defeat from the third round of IgA Swiatek in Melbourne.

The 22-year-old, who again needed Wild Card to ensure that he has entered the tournament, did not try the victory, as coach Nick Kavade retreated from his position for health reasons after the Australian Open.
Radukanu Jane O’Donogyu’s mentor flew to Doha to offer support, but could not help the former US champion engineer be a change in wealth.
Alexandrova bounced from her defeat against Radukanu, winning the WTA Tour title in Linz and the difference in the levels of trust between the couple became obvious.
Like Vondrousova earlier this week, Radukanu began a strong start, going into a 3-1 lead, and if she had taken one of three chances for a second service of service that could be different.

But Alexandrovska began to really find her range of his big major strikes, and by the time Radukanu won another game, she was already a breakup in the second set.
She took advantage of the immersion of her opponent to lead again by 3-1, but once again she could not strengthen her advantage and Alexandrova claimed to be a decisive vacation at 5-5.
Radukanu had never lost more than three games in a row in her professional career, and although she insisted that she was in no hurry to find a Kavade replacement, this was obviously a difficult period for her.
