Images on social media have spread today (Saturday, February 15th), showing a silver BMW 4×4 silver, which crashed through a wall around the perimeter of St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Rock Ferry.
Police and fire crews were reported about the incident around 11.17 and arrived at the church of Old Chester Road to help minutes later.
The driver of the vehicle was checked by fire crews, but no serious injuries were reported.

Fire crews on stage (Image: Facebook) A fire service spokesman said: “Merseyside Fire & Rescue Service is present at an incident of Old Chester Road, Rock Ferry, earlier today (Saturday, February 15).
“The crews were alerted to 11.17 and two fire engines were on the spot at 11.23.
“The crews arrived to find a collision of road traffic, where a car collided with a wall. The firefighters stabilized the car and cleaned a small amount of liquid below.
“The driver of the vehicle, who was conscious and breathing, was checked by fire crews and refused more treatment.
“The crews remained in place until the vehicle was restored before handing over to the Merseyside police and left at 12.38.”
