Egypt to host Speedi Arab Summit to discuss Palestinian developments – Boise State Public Radio

Tel Aviv, Israel – Egypt announced on Sunday that he will host a meeting at the summit of Arab leaders later during the month of anxiety in the region because of President Trump’s proposals about Gaza’s future.

A statement by the Egyptian Foreign Ministry said that the summit was summoned in response to a Palestinian request.

It says that leaders will gather on February 27 to discuss “the new and dangerous developments in the Palestinian issue.”

Arab countries have rejected Trump’s latest comments on the relocation of Gaza residents and the creation of the Riviera of the Middle East there, as well as the Palestinian leaders.

Trump made the proposal on Tuesday when he met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Washington, speaking to White House reporters on Friday, Trump said he considered the proposal as a “real estate deal where we would be an investor in this part of the world.” He added that he was in “There’s no hurry to do nothing”.

Several countries have also condemned the proposal of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu – that Saudi Arabia has enough land for a Palestinian state.

Netanyahu seems to be joking in response to a slip by Israeli television interviewer, but his words are reflected through the region at a time when tension increases high.
