Baton Rouge – East Baton Rouge’s sheriff’s service searches for a man who was arrested for murder after claiming that parishione East Carol’s parish staff left him at a bus stop by Batton Ruzhaound.

Christopher Davis was arrested in January 2023 for shooting a man on Edwin Street after a dispute.

According to employees, it is not known why Davis was left at the bus station and East Carrol Parish has notified the employees after the fact. WBRZ contacted East Carrol Parish employees and expects an answer.

Davis’s family talks to WBRZ, saying that they are worried not only about Davis’s safety but also about their safety.

“Why did you let him go first? You all told us that he should not have been released, but he was released, you all did a big hiccup,” said a member of the Davis family.

Anyone with Davis’s location information is recommended to call 911 or at Ebras’s office on 225-389-5000. WBRZ will sit entirely with Davis’s family at 10pm
