The Baton Rouge-woman was arrested on Saturday about the death of 41-year-old Gerrard Nicholas Richard, a man who was found dead along the Hugh P. Long Bridge on Thursday night.
MEPs said they were arrested by Richard’s girlfriend, the 36-year-old Koshevi Conli, that he was an accessory following the fact of the second-degree murder.
Arrest the documents shows that Conli was one of the last people to see Richard alive and he visited the Baker’s Home for hours before his body was found “enclosed” on the bridge. The deputies said they found Richard’s car, burned in the parish of Eastern Feliciana, and Conli was spotted driving her for an hour and a half after finding her body.
When Conli went to meet with murders detectives regarding Richard’s case, they said she had drove a different vehicle but had a gas box in her truck’s bed. When the MPs went to her apartment, they found a blood path partially covered with bleach leading from the parking lot to her home.
The deputies said others were caught in security staff in her apartment complex and more arrests would happen.
