The company invests $ 340 million to increase US production from its three -phase transformers, essential for reliable electricity. Production and hiring in New Jonesville on Ethan, the South Carolina facility is expected to start in 2027. Eaton will continue to produce three -phase transformers at two Wisconsin facilities.

Eaton Transformers meet the highest standards of industry efficiency, helping customers save energy and costs. Based on more than a century of innovation and production of transformers, Eaton will turn an existing facility into Jonesville, South Carolina into the most up-to-date production site for three-phase transformers. The project is supported by local, state and federal incentives for economic development. The company is also working closely with ReadySc and regional schools to support hiring and industry training.

Eaton will continue to produce three -phase transformers in Waukesha, Wisconsin. The company will also continue to produce single -phase mounted poles and installed transformers in Nacogdoches, Texas.
