The Alliance connects us to a world network of universities and other organizations that have a shared interest in the impact of public health and climate change.

Growing consortium

The Alliance is a growing consortium of more than 480 universities, non -governmental organizations, research institutes and state organizations from over 80 countries around the world.

Their visual centers around a world where all humans thrive for the coming generations, protecting and regenerating the natural systems of the Earth.

PHA supports the spread of new research, the development and courage of fundamental educational materials and the unification of practice communities around the world.

Joining the Alliance

We have joined the Alliance for the relevance of our work and in the demonstration of the University’s commitment to continuing cooperation in planetary health.

This is aligned with our broader health strategy and a program for research, education, commitment and impact.

The broader program includes initiatives such as our Laboratory for Intelligent Soils, Pioneer Research from our Department of Earth Sciences to support communities living near active volcanoes, and our constant work on clean air cleaning policies in the UK.

The Laboratory for Intelligent Soils brings together our experience in the field of engineering, biological sciences and sociology to find new ways to improve soil health, help sustainable land management and change the way we value this vital resource.
