Talking about Stouffville, it was a wild one Sunday afternoon, where Trenton Golden Hawks exceeded the spirit of the hometown of 8-6. Particularly wild was the second period in which the teams combined for 9 goals.
Taeo Artishuk (22) and Jamie Darlison (10) had two goals and an assist. David Funny (37) added two assists.
Trenton hosts the junior Canadians in Toronto on Friday night in the battle of the first two teams in the Eastern Conference.

In the junior hockey of “C” attackers, the attackers defeated Trent Hills Thunder 6-2 to move only to possession first in the Division of the Eastern Todd.
Michael Patrick and Andrew Carr scored twice.
Eric McNale added four assists.
