One person was killed and another was hospitalized after a crash on Monday morning in sparks.
Just after 5 o’clock in the morning, the State Police in Nevada responded to a report on a two -vehicle crash on the Pyramid and North McCaran Highway. Witnesses told the authorities that on Nissan’s western pickup truck on McCaran Boulevard, red light on Pyramid Way, hitting a jeep south along a pyramid at the intersection, according to police.
The jeep driver died at the hospital while the other driver was hospitalized with serious injuries, NSP said.
Damage and speed seem to be not factors, NSP said. The intersection opened again before 11 hours after it was closed for several hours.
