Lavante Lang spent February 13 on the appointment of a doctor for inspection before an operational procedure, placed five days later.
The 32-year-old father was paralyzed by the waist down after being wounded in a drunk driving crash for nearly a year and before 1/2 in South Lyubok.
The operation he has scheduled will not release him from life in a wheelchair, but we hope to improve his mobility.

“I have a bone accumulation in the area of my thighs, which caused the very limited mobility that I had to be even more restrictive to the place where I couldn’t even sit,” he wrote in a statement read in court on February 13th during the driver that caused the remains.
The procedure is one of the many operations that Lang has undergone due to the actions of Grant Doure.
“I really hope it is completely known that this incident has caused great influence not only on my life but also on my family’s life, especially my children,” Lang writes. “I want to understand that no matter what this defendant goes through in my life, I will forever be in a wheelchair and he has caused me so much difficulties that I could never imagine.”
In the meantime, Doura was placed on a probationary period of seven years after pleading guilty to counting an attack with intoxication by a vehicle, a second -degree crime, which bears a sentence of two to 20 years in prison.
He faces up to 10 years in prison if his probation is canceled.
Dewbre’s accusation stems from September 3, 2023, Lubbock’s police investigation into a crash near the intersection of 111st Street and University Avenue.
Responsible employees arrived to find two vehicles
Lang was trapped in his vehicle, and Lubbok firefighters had to cut off their car to save him.
Initially, an investigation showed that Nissan’s passenger car, which Dewbre was driving south at the back of University Avenue, ended Lang’s pointiac by pushing it into a useful pole.
In the meantime, an officer was talking to Dutre, who looked stunned and confused, said he was returning to the range to extract his phone. He said he had been in the golf range two hours before and drank three “normal” sizes of a single star size, according to a police report.
During the interaction, the officer smelled of the breath alcohol of Dutre. He also noted that Duber’s speech was suffocated and the lids of his eyes looked low and heavy, the report said.
A standard field sobriety test has provided the employee with a more likely reason to arrest Dewbre for intoxication, the report said.
Dewbre was released to Bond the next day, according to court records.
His lawyer did not respond to an email looking for a comment.
