Dozens of protest immigration policies outside Westgate of Glendale – Arizona’s family

Glendale, AZ (Azfamily) – A small group of protesters against President Donald Trump’s immigration policies were out of the Westgate entertainment area in Glendale on Tuesday night, making their votes.

About 30 people gathered on the sidewalk at the intersection of 93 Avenue and Avenue Maryland.

They walked back -behind the sidewalk, waving the signs that were said to “immigrants make America great” and “no one is illegal to the stolen land.” Some also wore the Mexican flag.

As some were bumped and encountered in support of the protesters on the sidewalk, others shouted at them, disagreed with their point of view.

One person has been arrested for claiming to have burned, police said.

Before the protesters hit the streets, police in Glendale blocked Avenue Maryland from 91 to 95 Avenue, as the officers described the area as a “free speech area”.

Glendale police say they are ready for whatever happens.

“We are ready to do everything we have to do. If we are welcomed, we will restore strength. Obviously, it is at an appropriate level, “said Moroni Mendes of the Glendale Police Department.

Police officers are located at Westgate entrances and businesses are closed overnight.

This is the fifth consecutive night in which immigration protests took place in the valley and only two days after a different protest in Glendale became chaotic.

On Monday, immigration protesters passed around Central Phoenix in the afternoon, including stopping near immigration and field for the application of Phoenix customs, while some protested in the Capitol of the State.

The marches eventually went to Roosevelt Rowe and then went to Capitol.

Several drivers parked around the Capitol sites, reviving their engines and waving Mexican flags. At least one person has been detained by state soldiers after a fireworker, who at first glance, causing himself, causing much of the crowd to scatter.

Then some of the protesters went to a popular merchant area near the 43rd Avenue and McDowell Road late at night.

While most of them remained on the sidewalks, other people made donuts at the intersection and went with fireworks.

No one was arrested there.

On Sunday night, hundreds of flooded the intersection of the 67th Avenue and Camilbek Road to protest against deportations and other immigration policies.

The demonstration went out of control, with someone who briefly headed for a police all -terrain vehicle in Glendale.

Glendale’s police claim that five patrol SUVs were damaged during chaos, and employees released a Dash-Cam video of two incidents.

Shortly after 10:00 pm employees unfolded tear gas and the intersection was eventually cleared.

On Saturday night, immigration protest closed the 35th Avenue and the intersection of Thomas Road for hours.

Hundreds of policies aimed at illegal immigration on Friday, especially the group’s request to transfer their classmates to ICE.
