Doyle is selected to run several features focused on Scottsdale’s business – City of Scottsdale

Judy Doyle, an employee of the city of Scottsdale for more than 22 years, has been increased to control several urban functions that share a business -oriented approach that is not common to other operations in the city. This move is part of the last reorganizations that have come after the former assistant manager of the city Bill Murphy.

The areas that Doyle will monitor effectively on February 10 are Airport Scottsdale (aviation), tourism and events, Westworld, McCormick-Cillman Railroad Park and Scottsdale Stadium.

“Judy is very talented, oriented towards people who will bring a business perspective on important facilities and operations that are large parts of Scottsdale’s economy,” said the temporary city manager Greg Caton.

Caton is looking forward to the potential synergies and efficiency that will be created by organizing these features under one leader.

“In Judy Doyle, we have an experienced leader with a unique combination of origin and skills that are a great match for these urban operations.”

She joined the city of Scottsdale in 2003 as a senior budget analyzer, encouraging the budget manager and then a budget director in 2009. He served as a city cashier for nine months. Judy has been an assistant director of public services since July 2023, responsible for the planning and business operations of the department, library and human services of Scotsdale. Judy also brings experience in positions with Arizona and in the private sector.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from the University of Minnesota-Dulut and Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.

Judy is a member of the International City/County Association, the US Library Association and the Arizona’s leading government. She is a member of the management of Scottsdale, class 39.
