DOJ: Man pleads guilty to attempted coercion and enticement of minor – AOL

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPRUD) — A Wisconsin man faces possible life in prison after pleading guilty to attempted coercion and enticement of a minor and attempted delivery of obscene material to a minor.

James Tyra Bowman, 30, of Appleton, Wisconsin, faces life in prison, a $250,000 fine and a limited period of supervised release, which includes sex offender registration requirements, according to the U.S. Department of Justice.

Bowman admitted to using social media and the name “Genuis_Outlaw” to try to convince someone to have an illicit sexual relationship with him, according to a DOJ news release.

According to the Justice Department, Bowman sent an undercover law enforcement officer posing as an 11-year-old child photos of himself and “demanded that she send him sexually explicit videos and images of herself.”
