Dog dies in early morning house fire – WAFB

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – Firefighters responded to an early morning house fire in Baton Rouge that killed a dog.

Crews extinguished flames at a home in the 6200 block of Landis Drive near Glen Oaks Drive just after 7 a.m.

Firefighters from the Sixth Precinct Fire Department and the Baton Rouge Fire Department responded to the scene.

There is no information on how the fire started. No injuries were reported. An investigator is working to determine the cause.
