Dog attacks hurt one in Talahasi; Authorities warn of a potentially loose dog – FOX 35 Orlando

One has received serious but life -threatening injuries after being attacked by a group of dogs on Saturday morning, according to a Talahasi police department.

The officers were sent to 800 block of southern Lipon Road at about 11:26 in response to reports of animal attack. After arrival, they found a victim that was bitten repeatedly by several dogs. The victim was treated at the scene and was transported to a local hospital for additional care.

Witnesses say they see four to five dogs involved in the attack. While four of the dogs have since been removed and removed from animal control, authorities believe that one can still be free in the area.

Residents are advised not to approach any loose or aggressive dogs they can meet. Instead, they are urged to contact the law enforcement agencies immediately.

The incident happened near the route of the Marathon capital, which encourages law enforcement agencies to issue additional warnings to the marathon participants and viewers to be alert to their environment.
