Burlington, vt. (Wcax) – Vermont gets an unsuccessful class when it comes to some areas of preventing tobacco use.
The State of Tobacco State from the American Lung Association considers state and federal efforts to end the use of tobacco.
Two areas received F, including funding for tobacco prevention programs and discontinue the sale of flavored tobacco products.
These are a striking contrast from the other three areas – the power of the workplace without tobacco workplace, tobacco taxes and access to the refusal of services – which all received A.
While defenders are urging legislators to take steps to improve these results, Vermont has achieved higher than the national average in most categories.
