DJ on the Arena in South Carolina stopped 1 game to release a song by the late father of Flau’jae Johnson – Live 5 News WCSC

Colombia, South Carolina (AP)-South Carolina’s athletic department announced on Sunday that the DJ in the arena of the women’s basketball team was removed for a song for a song released at the end of Gamecocks victory over LSU on Friday.

The DJ, known as DJ to, has been removed to release Camouflage’s Cut Friends. The artist, whose real name is Jason Johnson, is the father of LSU Flau’jae Johnson player. He was killed in 2003, about six months before the birth of Flu’jj.

Flau’jae Johnson posted on X:

South Carolina said in a statement about X that DJ’s actions are “disrespectful to the LSU program and fans.” The post also says that conference rivalries and passionate fan bases should improve sport rather than target individual players.
