The Hialeah Lawn Square at the Busan Citizens Park opened a month earlier than in the previous year.

The Lawn Square was open to the public on April 1, as the Busan facilities cited an increased number of visitors and an increase in daily temperatures as the cause of early opening.

Early opening allows citizens to enjoy outdoor activities on the grass during a pleasant spring time.

In response, the corporation of the facilities organizes various events and programs to coincide with the opening, including a photo zone of sand sculpture, open free time sessions, a garden experience, a model mayoralty for children, the Kids Festival of Culture, the Program “Let’s Park Park”, open concerts and street art.

To protect the grass, access to the grass square will be restricted every Monday from this month to January next year, which will allow the grass to rest and recover weekly.
