Deputy Controlled in Strike After Super Bowl Lix in New Orleans-wwltv.com

The par from the parish sheriff in the East Baton Rouge suffered a broken ankle, but is expected to recover.

New Orleans, the parish sheriff’s deputy in East Baton Rouge, suffered a broken ankle after being struck by a vehicle while directing traffic after the Super Bowl Lix, according to our WBRZ partners. The driver escaped from the stage and continues to investigate.

The incident happened at about 10:30 am at the intersection of Pudras Street and the Convention Center Boulevard, a few blocks from the supero, according to the New Orleans Police Department. The MP helped control traffic after the game when a double truck cut off his ankle with one of his back.

The emergency medical services responded to the scene and treated a deputy whose condition was not known immediately on Sunday night. Later, the Cabinet of East Baton Rouge sheriff has confirmed that the deputy is expected to recover, but will probably require surgery to injure his ankle.

New Orleans police deployed the truck approximately an hour after stroke and running and collects samples of toxicology as part of the investigation.
