Delare Business, excellent for supporting military and veterans talents – Bay to Bay News

Wilmington – The JMAC Joint Committee (JMAC) of the State Chamber of Commerce of Delaware and the Chamber of Commerce of the New Castle County announced that the recipients of 2025 of the Delueer Friendly Business Award are the Federal Credit Union of Dover and Hesape.

The honors will be recognized at the address of the JMac State of the Guard from 8-9: 30 am.

The event will be held at the National Guard of Delaware, the Joint Force Headquarters, Major Joseph R. Boy Boydon III National Guard/Reserve Center.

This honor acknowledges the efforts of the business to support members of the service, veterans and members of their families through workplace initiatives.

The Dover Federal Credit Union serves a membership that includes US military officials, members of the Delaware National Guard, civilian officials at Dover Air Force, their families and members of affiliated organizations such as Friends of Bombay Hook.

The Credit Union supports members of the service, veterans and their families through targeted hiring initiatives, including the recruitment of military service fairs, cooperation with the Center for Multi Services of Veterans and Hiring veterans for their retail department.

In addition to the rental effort, Dover Federal offers financial literacy and community programs. He hosts monthly financial literacy hours at Warriors, helping Warriors and supports events aimed at veterans such as career fairs, family days and the first state air show.

The Credit Union is also contributing to the Delaware National Guard Youth Foundation and supports organizations such as the USO Delaware and the shelters of local veterans, remaining true to its roots as a credit union created to serve the military community.

Chesapeake Utilities also encourages the employment of veterans outside the company by hosting hiring fairs, partnered with the Joint Military Affairs Committee in Delaware and engages with members of the Career Fair Service such as Dover Base Career-A-Thon.
