The immediate passing governor of the State of Kaduna, Malam Nasir El-Rufai fell under a severe verbal attack after his interview on Monday night.
Daily Post reports that during an interview with Arise TV, El-Rufai criticizes President Bola Tinu, the current administration and some key elements in the government.
El-Rufai claims that President Tinubu did not want it in his office, blaming the members of the National Assembly, who actually projected it.
The Daily Post recalls that in August 2023, the Senate declined to confirm the former governor as a ministerial candidate of Tinubu, citing security reports from the State Security Service for the action.
But El-Rufai said that “security is a good excuse they used. Since then, someone has released this report that tells us the security issue? “
Similarly, the former governor claims that the National Security Advisor, the NSA, the President Nuhu Ribadu is behind a plot to downplay his reputation.
According to El-Rufai, Ribadu took care of the presidential ambition to inherit President Tinubu in 2031, stressing that the NSA’s decision was to remove any potential competition from the North.
Since then, NSA has denied the allegations.
However, the outbreak of El-Rufai is not well found with some president loyalists and other concerned Nigerians who have acquired the handles of their social media to admire the former governor.

“They don’t like Nigeria, but for themselves,” he wrote in a post on his Facebook page.

Shehu Sani says
Former Federal Legislator, Senator Shehu Sani, attributes President Tinubu’s decision to lack trust in the former governor.
According to Shehu Sani, “no Nigerian president in his right senses will never embrace or trust a person who has repeatedly celebrated and badly to send President Yar’adua to his grave.
“This is the case of ‘if you can do this and say that about your own brother, what about me? “
“No one will ever recognize a man in his house who came with a sword colored with his brother’s blood,” he published on his handle X.
