1. ‘There were so many alarms’: GCU fire in Phoenix may have been arson, school says

A Sunday morning fire forced students to flee a GCU residence hall in Phoenix.

“There were two small fires in the living room on the third floor at Agave Apartments. GCU Public Safety and the Phoenix Fire Department responded and quickly extinguished the fire. No one was injured,” GCU spokesman Bob Romantick said Oct. 27. “There is fire and water damage in the area, which will cause some students to move to other rooms on campus.”
