During an interview with NBA reporter Tomer Azarley of Clutchpoints, Darius Garland said “some conversations of an adult person” were needed to play together and Donovan Mitchell to play together.

Garland averaged 21.6 points, 2.5 rebounds and 6.7 assists, while Mitchell average 24.0 points, 4.4 rebounds and 4.8 assists.
Garland and Mitchell made the All-Star team.
