Dallas Cowboy interviewing Texas Longhorns RB Coach Tashad Election – Sports Illustration

Austin-caubi in Dallas and recently hired chief coach Brian Shottenheimer are looking at the country’s capitol for their next potential addition to the staff.

According to reports from the Cowboys Clarence Hill Jr., Cowboys reporter, they are ready to interview Texas Longhorns, managing the ThaShard Choice coach for the same role. The choice has become one of the most valuable auxiliary coaches not only in Texas but also in the College of Football.

The 40 -year -old choice has been a 2022 RB coach in Texas, where he has mentored the draft election such as Bijan Robinson, Rocheon Johnson, Jonathan Brooks and Kielan Robinson. Texas, who runs back, Jaden Blue, entered the NFL draft in 2025 and will be just the latest Longhorns ball carrier, which his name was called to Draft Night.

The choice was also previously the run -up coach in Georgia Tech, where he coach of the current Detroit star lions running back Jamir Gibbs.

A choice, which was a fourth round of Cowboys in the NFL draft in 2008, played four seasons with Dallas. He eventually became a coaching trainee with the Cowboys in 2016. As a player, he also spent time with Washington, buffalo accounts and Indianapolis Colts.

While in Dallas, the former fourth round selection is 1139 yards and eight touchdowns at 250 carries as he plays 54 matches for the Cowboys. Although he eventually gave up Dallas, the four Choice seasons with the Cowboys turned out to be his most productive. In the next three seasons, it only amounts to 440 yards in 122 attempts.

Longhorns will probably do everything you need to maintain staff choice.
