Protesters expressed their concerns about the technological tycoon Elon Musk, who heads the new Ministry of Trump Efficiency (Doge). They also protested against the abbreviations of the federal programs, the Trump cabinet appointed and its immigration policies, one saying that it was unconstitutional to deport children born by immigrants to America.

“We understand that people vote for various reasons, but we all have to vote to support our constitution. This has been going on for 248 years, “Rodoni said.

State Senate candidate Quentin Anderson talks with those present and encouraged them to consider running for a position.

“Everyone you read about in these history textbooks are just another person who activates,” Anderson said.

Anderson is running for a place vacated by Cleo Fields, which was elected in the Congress in November.

“And if you are not ready to run, then support the people who are,” Anderson said.

The event was peaceful and the police in Capitol remained in their transport funds during the protest.
