Topeka, Kan. (Wibw) – The crews responded to a fire report on the house on Thursday morning on the west side of the city.
The blaze was announced at 10:11 on Thursday at the residence in the 1500 block of Swim Parkway.
Initial reports show that the explosion is in the kitchen and that the home residents have made it out safely before the crews of the scene arrive.
Smoke and flames coming from the attic of the house are reported.
Five trucks at the Topeka Fire Service remained at the scene of 10:45, until the light smoke continued to leave the house.
There were no instant messages of injuries.
