Crews a rescue girl, a dog from home fire in San Bernardino – San Bernardino County Sun

Firefighters saved a girl and the dog of their family from a fire at the House on Monday morning, February 3, in San Bernardino.

The crews responded at 11:15 am within six minutes after a call on a fire at a one -storey home in the 1300 North Valencia block, according to the San Bernardino County Fire Service.

Residents told firefighters that their daughter, who has “access and functional needs”, is still in the home. Her age was not reported by the fire agency.

The firefighters found the girl on a hospital bed in a bedroom and went through a window of other firefighters outside. Her bedroom door was closed, preventing smoke and flames from hurting her mainly, a firefighter statement said.

The paramedics brought the girl to a hospital where employees said she was in a serious but stable condition. The crews also saved a family dog ​​from home.

A total of 30 fire department employees, including three main officers, answered. The answer included seven fire trucks, one truck company and one Medic squad.

The reason for the fire was in the process of investigation.
