Crawfordville, FL (February 6, 2025) – A US tragic collision 319 in Croforvlv took the life of a Talahassi motorcyclist on Wednesday night, according to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP). The crash happened shortly before 9:30 pm near the US intersection 319 and Rainbow Drive.

FHP reports that a 17-year-old sedan travels south to the US 319 when he tried to make a left turn on Rainbow Drive. When the sedan turned, he walked into the path of a motorcycle to the north, operated by the man Talahasi. The motorcycle is confronted with the right back of the sedan, which causes the motorcycle to be thrown out of its bike and lands about 20 feet from the point of impact.

After the collision, the motorcycle continued to rotate behind the sedan before it came on vacation until the sedan also stopped shortly after the impact. The emergency responders transported the motorcyclist to the Talahasi Memorial Hospital, where he was later declared dead. His identity was not published publicly, but the authorities confirmed that his next family had been notified.

The 17-year-old sedan driver was unharmed in the crash. The US 319 was closed for several hours, while investigators examined the scene and worked to determine the exact cause of the accident.
