Crash on westbound I-80 in Sparks blocks traffic; most tapes reopen – KTVN

Update (1/25/25, 10:05 PM):

According to the NDOT website, the crash on I-80 near Vista Boulevard in Sparks has been partially cleared and westbound traffic has been cleared.

One right lane remains closed westbound; drivers will still need to use caution in the area as first responders and emergency personnel are still on the scene.

Sparks Police are advising everyone to slow down due to winter weather conditions.

Original story (1/25/25, 8:43 p.m.):

A crash on westbound I-80 this evening blocked all lanes of traffic near the Vista Boulevard exit.

According to video from a nearby traffic camera, it appears that at least one semi-truck was involved in the crash.
