BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – WAFB and Gray Media are excited to announce that Cox Cable will now offer Gulf Coast Sports & Entertainment Network (GCSEN), bringing New Orleans Pelicans games to Cox Cable subscribers in New Orleans, Baton Rouge , Lafayette and Mobile-Pensacola areas. All 75 non-national network games are set to air on GCSEN, ensuring fans can catch every exciting moment of the action.
With the Pelicans’ season opener against Chicago on Wednesday, Oct. 23, Cox subscribers in Baton Rouge will temporarily find that game on channel 125. On Friday, Oct. 25, Cox will put Gulf Coast Sports & Entertainment Network on its permanent home, Cox channel 22.
“Our desire is to bring Pelicans games to as many viewers as possible,” said Joe Sciortino, WAFB vice president and general manager. “We are excited to announce the addition of Cox Cable as we work to bring Pelicans games to more and more fans in our area.”

The Pelicans’ season opener begins with a pregame show at 6:30 p.m. and a game broadcast at 7 p.m. The game promises to be electrifying and GCSEN is excited to bring it directly to homes across our region.
Gulf Coast Sports & Entertainment Network also offers an exciting lineup of sports and entertainment programming in 14 markets across three states in the Gulf Coast region.
