Laramie – The Wyoming Cowgirls have a quick turn from their Saturday victory at home. Cowgirls are traveling to face Boise State at 6:30 pm, a Tuesday race from Extramile Arena.

The competition on Tuesday will be broadcast live on the Mountain West network and can be heard in the Cowgirl radio with David arranging in the conversation.
For the cowbars
Wyoming (16-9, 10-3 MW) begins its difficult final three weeks of the regular season, striving to extend its best winning series of five games. Cowgirls emerge from 59-54 victory over Saturday in San Jose at Arena Auditorium.
Wyoming uses 14-1 to start the fourth quarter to help create some distance from the Spartans. SJSU has made its own own in the last three plus minutes of the game to make the final assessment look much closer after all.

For the third time this season and the sixth overall in his career, Allyson Fertig has been named a player of the Mountain West Week, announced on Monday by the League office. Fertig was also announced as a MW player of the week on December 2 and January 27 this season.
For the week, Fertig is an average of 24 points, 15.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 2.0 blocks per match in both Wyoming wins last week. Fertig, who fired 67.7 percent (21-31) from the floor in victories over the Air Force and San Jose State, recorded double double couples for the first time this season.
Fertig opened the week with 30 points, 15 rebounds and three blocks at firing 12 to 14 against the Falcons. On Saturday, Fertig scored 18 points and dropped 16 boards in victory over San Jose.
