Cousins ​​Maine Lobster food truck franchise starts in Lubbock – AOL

Despite not being near an ocean, Lubbock will become home to a Shark Tank-approved food truck specializing in Maine lobster.

Cousins ​​Maine Lobster, a food truck franchise that appeared on “Shark Tank” in 2012, will have a grand opening for its Lubbock truck on Saturday, October 26. The celebration will be from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. at the West End Shopping Center – Bed Bath and Beyond Parking Lot, 2624 W. Loop 289 Access Road.

As part of the celebration, the truck will have a prize wheel where people can win merchandise, free menu items and other prizes.

Cousins ​​Maine Lobster announced the grand opening and multi-unit multi-unit franchise deal in an Oct. 22 news release. The publication named Chris Wilson and Gary Andrews, both operators of six Slim Chicken locations, as franchisees in Lubbock.

“After six years of operating in Texas, we are excited to announce our West Texas expansion in partnership with Chris Wilson and Gary Andrews,” said Angela Kopler, Head of Development for Cousins. “We can’t wait to bring the best lobster in the world to more seafood lovers in the region.”

The deal will serve West Texas and Northwest Oklahoma. Cities will include Amarillo, Midland, Odessa, Wichita and San Angelo.

“As a lifelong restaurant operator, I know an amazing brand when I see one,” Wilson said. “My first contact with Cousins ​​Maine Lobster was seeing a line of people excited and eager to try it. We couldn’t be more proud to become part of the CML family and bring this amazing product and experience to our West Texas community.”
