County Durham Forest to host the return on the Stick Man Adventure Trail – Yahoo News UK

Durham Forest County is ready to host a new Stick Man adventure trail.

Families can join the very beloved Stick Man character based on the book with pictures of Julia Donaldson and Axel Sheffler, in the Hamsterley Forest in England.

From February this year to January 2026, Hamsterley will have specially designed Stick Man activity paths.

These paths will allow families to follow the character of his journey back to the family tree.

Along the way, young adventurers will find nine interactive activities for activities and six spot panels, offering practical experiences from the construction of sticks to the learning of forest wildlife, birds and nests.

A Forestry England spokesman said: “We are glad to meet the Stick man back in our forest to promise to be an exciting year of family adventures.

“These paths offer the perfect combination of telling stories and outdoor exploration, helping children connect with nature in a fun and memorable way.

“It’s great to see how a favorite character like Stick Man can inspire the next generation of nature lovers.”

To make the adventure “even more special”, families can buy a package of £ 4.

The package includes materials to create your own person and a special passport system.

Young researchers can collect stamps along the path by filling in their adventure passports as they implement any exciting challenge.

The trail marks the last chapter in the successful partnership between Forestry England and Magic Light Pictures, which began in 2014, reviving Julia Donaldson’s favorite characters and Axel Schaeler’s favorite characters in natural conditions.
