Middleton, what maybe missing on Timberlake in a depth on Saturday was made up with another D-Duma.
Driving.
Determination.
Protection.
The senior Diana Nelson had 10 points and nine fourth-seed tigers, who pulled away from the free throw late to beat the third place in southern Fremonth Cugari 39-33 in the 4A Basketball Basketball Match in Middleton High.

Timberlake, which finished 21-4, was third last year after going to the title game 2023.
“This group of older people (Diana, Jose and Marisa (needs) were huge for our program,” Miller said. “Jose and Marisa were four -year -old players of Varsiti, and Diana was a float like a freshman. Jozee of fourth grade, Marisa from the sixth and Diana came to us in the seventh grade.
Timberlake returned from the state with trophies in 13 of their 14 appearances, moving to the championship game nine times, winning in 2016, 2017, 2020 and 2021, all with Miller as a coach. Tigers have completed a third four times (2018, 2019, 2024, 2025).
Timberlake fired 10 out of 39 from the field and made 15 out of 26 of the free throw line.
Brian Bailey scored 12 points for Southern Fremont (22-7), who entered the tournament with five losses, all for the highest ranked sugar-salem, which defeated Timberlake in the semifinals.
“We were just struggling to score,” said Miller, who has played six players throughout the weekend with two key players – Lucy Simpson and Peyton Young – for the knee injury season. “We had to fight through fatigue because we spent so much energy in the protective end. But the girls worked hard and I’m really proud of them that they finished today. ”
