Community officer in Las Vegas Roskov with flags of the emblematic city sign – News3lv

Las Vegas’s local paid tribute to the fallen police officer in northern Las Vegas Jason Roskov on Thursday morning.

The 17 flags mean the 17 -year -old Roskov officer dedicated to the Community.

There will be temporary road closures and traffic delays on the route and people are asked to be patient during the procession.

The 46 -year -old Roskov was killed in the execution of the duty last week. He and another officer responded to a signal to a man wearing a gun in the neighborhood near Camino Al Norte and Lone Mountain Road on Tuesday. February 4.

The employees arrived and the man Alexander Matisse escaped. Roskov followed him, caught up, and told Matis to show his hands. Matisse began to shoot at Roskov, who returned the fire. A second officer also fired one circle during the shootout. Roskov and Matisse were hit by the shooting and the two later died in UMC.

North Las Vegas police claim that Roskov will be laid to rest in his hometown of Prairie du Rocher, Illinois, on a later date.

He survived his two sons Grayson, 9 years old and Andrew, 4.
