Comedian and Internet Person Jake Shane announces a comedy tour stop in Baton Rouge – The Reveille, the LSU Student Gazette

Jake Shane has announced his biggest tour “Live with Jake Shane” so far, with his second stop in Baton Rouge.

The 24-year-old internet person quickly rose in 2023, reconstructing historical moments in a comedy way. After the fans showed their love for the videos, many began to ask. His studies only grew up from there. With almost one million followers on Instagram and over 3 million Tiktok, Shane announced his second comedy tour on Instagram.

On the night before the announcement of the tour, the Cane River center gave up on Instagram and Tiktok to annoy fans by posting a video, hinting at Shane’s stop in Baton Rouge before officially announced on January 28.

In addition to the comedy, Shane added a podcation in his agenda in 2024. The popular podcated “Therapuss with Jake Shane” puts Shane in a therapist position while interviewing a wide variety of guests like Fka Twigs, Alix Erle, Ed Sheran, Noah Beck And Katie Perry. The name of the podcast and his username @passthatpuss is derived from a continuing internal joke between him and his followers.

Shane’s comedy does not rely on online video content. “Puss & PoEms” was the debut comedy album of Shane, released in 2024, with features from his close friend Julia Mervis to Popstar Tate Mcrae.

The album reached # 4 in the Billboard comedy ranking in just one day. His podcast is # 3 in the best comedy podcasts of Spotify and No. 8 as a whole. The young comedian brings a refreshing sense of humor at Gen Z and will eventually share it with Baton Rouge.

Shane will perform his second tour of the North America tour in Batton Rouge at the River Center Theater on Saturday, March 1st. The tickets are on sale on Friday, January 31, and the pre -sale will begin on Wednesday, January 29 at 10 am local time. Los Angeles born will donate all the revenue from the Los Angeles show directly to Wildfire Relief.
