College Women’s Basketball: Blue Bears Win the Finale

The Winston-Salem-female basketball team of Livingston was holding the state of Winston-Salem up to two points in the second quarter and won the 66-55 time in Joel Coliseum to close the regular Ciaa season.
It wasn’t nice. Livingston (11-16, 9-7) won with 39 % firing, only two 3-challenging and 25 rpm. The blue bears caused much of their damage to a bad line, making 24 of 32 free throws.
The Winston-Salem State had a great advantage in the turnover column, but it fired 23 percent and made only one 3-indicator.
Briggs himself scored 19 for the blue bears. Morgan Kelson had 12, and Neil Reeves had 10.
Christian McLean led Aries with 13.
Livingston had 7-3 records in the Southern Division Games and will be # 2 seeds for the upcoming Ciaa tournament in Baltimore.
This automatically puts Livingston in the quarterfinals. Blue bears will play on the 27th. Winston-Salem State will play the 25th against Bowie State.
