ESPN’s “College Gameday” returns to Baton Rouge.
The popular pregame show that heads up to one of the biggest games in sports every Saturday will return to LSU’s campus for the first time since 2019. before the Tigers’ game against the Alabama Crimson Tide.
That previous visit came during the eventual National Championship winning season where Joe Burrow and company took the title. That game day visit also came before a game with the Florida Gators that LSU won 42-28.
This time around, the Tigers enter with a 6-2 record. They went on a six-game winning streak following a season-opening loss that included a home win over Ole Miss. They lost their last game to Texas A&M and have a bye this week.
Alabama is also 6-2 in its first season under Kalen DeBoer, who took over for Nick Saban after his retirement. The Tide had a big Top 5 win over Georgia, but fell to both Vanderbilt and Tennessee. They also have a bye this week.
“College Gameday” will air from 8:00 am to 11:00 am on Saturday, November 9 and will be held in The Quad. The start is scheduled for 18:30. in Death Valley when the Tigers take on the Purple Tide. You can hear the action on ESPN 103.7 Lafayette 104.1 Lake Charles.
