Nothing but the melancholy notes of the Blue are retained by Dreamland Bar-B-QE, as its owners make their departure after this weekend from the center of Talahassi.

The dream of having a thriving shopping mall indoors within the entertainment neighborhood where everyone could gather for food, entertainment and shopping remains just that.

According to a Facebook post by Bret Welman, Frontman for Bret Welman and The Stone Cold Blues Band, longtime James on JAMS on Thursday night at Dreamland Bar-B-Is, the place will close its doors this Sunday. The last JAM session was Thursday night.

An employee of Dreamland Tallahassee, who demanded not to be identified, confirmed the upcoming closure. Tallahassee Table, an online grocery site and a partner for Democrats content Tallahassee, also confirmed the restaurant’s death. “In the seven years, we have all become a family,” Welman told musicians, audiences and Dreamland staff in an email to Talahassi’s democrat. Thursday JAM sessions, a promising attraction and a source of revenue for the restaurant, began in March 2017. The sessions served as a center for music lovers of all ages and skills levels to perform, learn and connect.

Commercial property with mixed use on North Monroe Street, which began life as Tallahassee Mall in 1971, still has tenants such as a guitar center, AMC theater, Belk, Lemongrass, Barnes & Noble, Hibbett Sports and Ross Dress for more A little.
