Closing a school, delays announced Wednesday before snowfall in West Virginia – WCHS

Several school systems in West Virginia have announced delays and closure as snow is expected to fall at night in the mountain state.

Education officials announced on Tuesday night that the following counties will be closed on Wednesday, February 19:

  • Boown
  • Logan
  • Gauge
  • Summer
  • Wyoming

Other counties plan to work on delay:

  • Cable
  • Clay
  • File
  • Kanawha
  • Lincoln
  • Monroe
  • Nicholas
  • Putnam
  • Relic

Wayne County has chosen to close some schools, but others work to delay.
