Cleveland Cavaliers announced their third annual night on the Papiimet, presented by the Jillian project on Monday, which will be “honoring the life, inheritance and impact” of Nick Gilbert, the late son of KAS owner Dan Gilbert.
Nick Gilbert died in 2023. At the age of 26, after a life -threatening battle with neurofibromatosis, a genetic disease that causes non -cant tumors to grow on the body. Gilbert was a “charm” for the cavaliers who won both the NBA lottery for 2011 and in 2013 with Gilbert as a representative of the team.
The night of the bowl is named after Gilbert’s signature and will be held on March 2, when the cavaliers host Portland Trail Blazers.
Each fan will be given to the Nick Gilbert Bobblehead, which resembles the moment Cleveland won the NBA Lottery for 2011. Night goods and papiming connections will also be sold in the arena and online, with all revenues going to NF Next, for non -profit purposes in order to cure neurofibromatosis.
