Laredo, Texas (KGNS) – Laredo City is ready to start interviewing the candidates for the role of the Director of Utilities.
During the meeting of the Municipal Council on Tuesday, the city staff provided an update to the hiring process. Currently, the provisional director Walter Pishur remains for two months on his six -month contract with the city.
City manager Joe Naib said that finalizing the position description takes more time than expected due to adjustments made in the job requirements. In order to cooperate with national demand, the city has included SGR services.
NAB also mentioned that they have identified approximately three candidates, with interviews expected to be held soon.
