City authorities announce New Park that comes to the center of Boise – 104.3 Wow Country

One of the best things about Boise and The Treasure Valley is the range of parks we have available to us. From Ann Morrison to Camels Back Park, there are beautiful parks everywhere to enjoy relaxation, nature or events.

The Boyz Center announces its latest park

In a recent publication on social media, the city of Boyz announced plans for a brand new park, which will be opened later this year.

“A brand new park, Kaixo Corner, comes to the heart of the city center this summer!” The city of Boyz said on your Facebook page.

“The Park, named after the Basque greeting word Kaixo (Kai-Sho) for Hello, will soon join the park system of our city.”

According to a photo shared by Boyz, the park will be located on the 6th street and Grove Street.

City authorities claim that the park “celebrates the history and culture of the historic neighborhood, where for generations of immigrants they have been greeted in Boyz.”

Not everyone is happy with Boise’s plans for a new park!

While the bigger part of the people are excited by the new park to open this summer, some have shared their worries in City of Boise’s Facebook post about the new park.

“Terrible loss of money and space,” read one comment.

“Park instead of parking is a loss of money and space? Please explain why?” Another question.

On the other hand, others praised the city of Boyz for worshiping his rich history of Basque.

“Boyz is as a sip of fresh air as beautiful as the welcoming people,” read one of the best comments. “So proud of our state capitol, I want other cities such as an eagle and a star to follow her welcome style. Aidaho is too big to hate.”
