In their last game, the Bearcats lost 34-23 to the Colorado Buffaloes. The Mountaineers are coming off a 31-26 win over the Arizona Wildcats.
Brendan Sorsby had 180 yards on 16-of-30 passing (53.3%) for the Bearcats in that game against the Buffaloes, with two touchdowns and no interceptions. He also added nine carries for 48 yards. Corey Keener carried the ball 17 times for 94 yards (5.5 yards per carry). He also had four receptions for eight yards. Tony Johnson had 54 yards on four catches (13.5 per reception) with one touchdown in that game.
Nicco Marchiol went 18-for-22 with 198 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions for the Mountaineers against the Wildcats. He rushed 11 times for 39 yards. Jahiem White put together a 12-carry, 92-yard game (7.7 yards per attempt) while adding three receptions for 10 yards. Traylon Ray had two catches for 78 yards (on three targets), with one touchdown.
The Mountaineers are underdogs, but by less than a touchdown (+4.5), against the Bearcats (over/under 57.5 points).
