LAS CRESS, NM (KRQE) – The Christmas movie made with the help of students from the film at the State University of New Mexico, is making its way to the big screen in our capital of the country. Santa’s Cousin was made with the help of film companies in New Mexico Inspirado Films.

The film was filmed in Las Cructions and parts of southern New Mexico. This is followed by the heartfelt history of Santa’s unwanted cousin, who saves Christmas anniversary for the picturesque city of Ruidoso.
Santa’s cousin premiered last month in Las Cruz. The movie now makes its debut in Santa Fe as part of Nmsu Days in Santa Fe. You can see the movie at 2pm on Friday, January 31 at the Violet Crown Theater.
