Halloween is almost here, and Christina Ricci’s daughter Cleopatra, aka Cleo, has big feelings about the holiday (and they’re the complete opposite of Ricci’s).
While you might think that the princess of darkness, Richie, would be a Halloween fanatic, she isn’t; in fact, her daughter loves Halloween.
In a rare interview with PEOPLE about her new tarot deck, A Cat Full of Spiders, she said, “I’m not a big fan of Halloween, but my youngest daughter, who’s only 2 years and 8 months old, looks just like supernaturally obsessed with all things Halloween.

“So she’s going to have her first Halloween going out dressed up,” the proud mom added. “It should be pretty fun. She is very excited about it.
The first trick or treat is so exciting, and while Richie isn’t a huge fan of Halloween (which is so shocking), we know she’ll be the proudest ghost mom with her two kids.
For those who don’t know, Penelope star and Mark Hampton eloped in 2021, soon welcoming daughter ‘little penguin’ Cleo, born in December 2021. Richie shares another son with ex-husband James Herdegen named Freddie, born in August 2014.

In a previous interview with SheKnows, she told us how her son Freddy really wants the family to dress up as zombies for Halloween 2022. “We’re in the middle of deciding on our Halloween costumes for the whole family, including dogs,” she said. “There’s a lot of debate, a lot of great ideas. Freddy really wants everyone to be zombies. It’s like we’re all a zombie family.”
