Yes, crimes do happen in Lubbock and yes, there are people wanted for committing crimes in Lubbock. The good news? Law enforcement in the Lubbock area is searching for the wanted and in many cases making arrests.

We recently wrote about the most wanted gang members in Lubbock that authorities are looking for. This week, we’re showing you some of the most dangerous gang members in Lubbock County who have been taken off the streets by Lubbock law enforcement and the Lubbock Gang Unit.

Stop Lubbock Gangs, the multi-jurisdictional website maintained by local, state and federal agencies, not only has the most wanted gang members, but also updates the site to show which gang members have been caught. The website was created due to the increase in gang membership both nationally and locally. Law enforcement partners hope the site can be used as a preventative measure and a way to allow residents to report tips and thwart crimes. The website allows citizens to submit tips, learn about the threat of gangs in our area and learn more about the West Texas Gang Center of Texas.

These alleged gang members escaped the long arm of the law, but not for long. So far, the Texas Gang Task Force has brought back 16 of Lubbock’s most prolific criminals in 2024 so far.
