Birmingham, Ala. – Chattanooga Football Club defeated Birmingham Legion FC 3-2 in Birmingham, Alabama on Saturday afternoon in the second match of the Presion Club in 2025.

Ameziane Sid Mohand recorded a bracelet in victory, and Robert Screen collected the winner to drive Chatanuga by the USL championship.

Birmingham opened the score in the 30th minute when Sebastian Tregarten entered the penalty area and found Ronaldo Damus’ legs, which cut him along the FC Chattanuga goalkeeper Eldin Jacupovic.

Just like in the Opening President of the MLS Side Atlanta United FC, Chattanooga responded quickly. It was Sid Mohand that leveled in the 32nd minute with a close final of a cross from Daniel Mangarov. Mangarov’s driving is moving down the left flank found Sid Mohand in the back post, which he calmly finished.

Chattanuga came out of half, with Sid Mohand inserting his second in the 47th minute after connecting to a perfectly weighed ball from behind by Kalum Watson.

Birmingham striker Luka Durodo converted a penalty in the 60th minute to equalize it to 2-2.

The screen made 3-2 in the 67th minute of an assist from Jesus Ibara. After a skillful touch around Birmingham’s defender, the screen buried his final and scored what the winner of the match would be.

Chattanooga’s head coach Chris Nudunt said the result is another positive inertia builder as the porship continues for the boys in blue.

“I talked about the other day that I saw more of our identity. I felt there were many good moments in our accumulation and our possession through the lines today,” Nudzent said. “Sustainability was there again. It may have been harder than we would like in the second half, especially when we changed some of the boys near even when the fatigue was really impressive.”

Chattanooga’s pre -season continues on Saturday, February 15, when the club hosts USL League One Side One Knox SC in the Tennessee River. Kickoff is scheduled for 3:00 pm.
